MPCA continues to keep a finger on the pulse of trends, innovations and opportunities that impact health care, health centers and the nearly 180,000 patients health centers serve in Maine. This includes identifying forums and avenues to bring new ideas and initiatives to Maine as well as sharing the pioneering efforts of Maine’s health centers with others.
In order to do so, MPCA’s staff engage with over 60 local, statewide, regional and national learning teams, organizational boards, committees and collaborative efforts.
As a result of this ongoing work, MPCA is able to:
- Provide the latest in news and updates to our members
- Inform partners on every level of the role of Maine’s health centers and the greater health care safety net
- Ensure that health centers and the association are included in relevant planning and developments
- Educate MPCA staff and keep them at the forefront of their respective fields
